Bochum's City Centre
From the shopping area to the Bermuda3Eck

Bochum's city centre, called the Bochumer City, is located in the heart of the Ruhr region and has almost 16,771 residents (as of 2011).
Bochum, like many large cities, is characterised by a dense building and traffic infrastructure. In addition to the main train station, numerous administrative and office buildings, state and public buildings (such as the labour and district courts and more), there are also many shopping areas in Bochum.
"Kortumstraße" is the most well-known and the longest shopping street in Bochum. It ends at the so-called Bermuda3Eck, a bar and restaurant district that's known even beyond the city limits.
